Dermaplaning Facials
We have a new facial that has joined the facial family this year... our Body2Soul Dermaplaning Facial!
Dermaplaning has similar effects of a microdermabrasion but without the use of suction. It is not a non-invasive treatment, but a resurfacing exfoliation treatment. It is also referred to as Dermablading.
The surgical blade we use is used against the hair growth of the vellus hair that appears on your face at a 45 degree angle. This does not cause the hair to regrow thicker, so don’t you worry!
Dermaplaning comes with many benefits which is why you should have it done:
- Removes 21 days' worth of dead skin cells and vellus hair, leaving it deeply exfoliated and aids the deeper and quicker penetration of skincare products
- It provides a brighter, radiant, smoother and clearer complexion to the skin, evening out skin tone
- It minimises fine lines and wrinkles as well as post acne scarring
- With a smoother surface to the skin, make up will go on the skin better and more evenly
- Prepares the skin for other advanced procedures such as chemical peels

Non Surgical Facial
This specialised treatment will help to rejuvenate facial muscles and skin tone and will lift contours of the face and neck and soften lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, forehead, neck and cheeks, helping to reduce the appearance of ageing.
Microcurrent also increases circulation and lymphatic drainage and boosts collagen and elastin production in the skin.
It is very relaxing and you will notice a difference even after just one treatment. However we recommend that a course of ten weekly treatments should be taken for maximum results. Scheduled monthly treatments after that will ensure that the results are maintained.

Microdermabrasion
This is a 6-in-1 system that allows a personalised treatment procedure for each individual client, depending on their own personal needs and requirements on the face or body. Here at Body2Soul, we offer Ultrasound and Light Therapy as standard to finish a facial and have found it really exciting taking on new salon treatments, positioning them at the forefront of Microdermabrasion and Non-Surgical face lifts.
